Privacy Policy

E1 Universe is a non-custodial wallet. It does not ask you to create an account, it does not track you, and your keys never leave your phone. This page explains exactly what that means in practice.

The short version

We do not collect personal data. There is no sign-up, no profile, and no analytics. Your recovery phrase and private key are generated and stored only on your device, encrypted by the Android system — the developer never sees them and has no access to your funds, and we do not build a profile of you. To show balances and send transactions, the app does contact Ethereum nodes using your public wallet address — see “What leaves your phone” below.

On your device

What stays on your phone

Your recovery phrase and private key. Created or imported on the device and stored encrypted using the Android Keystore (via EncryptedSharedPreferences). They are never transmitted anywhere.
Your app-lock PIN. If you enable the lock, the PIN is salted, hashed, and stored locally — never sent off the device. Biometric unlock is handled entirely by Android; we never receive your fingerprint or face data.
Your saved addresses (contacts). Stored encrypted on the device only. They are not uploaded or shared.

Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all of the above from your device.

Network

What leaves your phone, and why

A wallet has to talk to the Ethereum network to be useful. The app makes network requests only for these purposes:

Showing balances and sending transactions. The app sends requests to Ethereum RPC endpoints: a proxy server hosted on e1universe.com (which relays to the node provider Infura) and public fallback nodes (PublicNode and Merkle) used automatically if the proxy is unavailable. These requests contain your public wallet address and, when you send, your signed transaction — information that is by design public on the blockchain.
Transaction history (optional). If you enable history by adding your own Etherscan API key, the app queries Etherscan with your public wallet address to list past transfers. If you don't add a key, no such request is made.

These requests do not include your name, email, recovery phrase, PIN, or contacts — none of that is ever sent.

Server logs

The e1universe.com RPC proxy

The proxy on e1universe.com exists so the node-provider key is not embedded in the app. Like any web server, it may briefly process standard technical data — your IP address, a timestamp, and the request — to operate the service, apply rate limits, and prevent abuse. This data is not used to identify you, is not linked to a profile, and is never sold or shared for advertising. Third-party providers (Infura, PublicNode, Etherscan) process requests under their own privacy policies; please review them on their websites.

What we don't do

No tracking, no ads

No analytics or telemetry SDKs.
No advertising and no advertising identifiers.
No third-party trackers.
No selling or sharing of personal data — there is none to sell.

Good to know

Blockchain is public and permanent

Transactions you broadcast are recorded on the Ethereum blockchain. They are public, and they cannot be edited, hidden, or reversed by anyone, including the developer. Treat your public address accordingly.

Your rights & children

GDPR and eligibility

The developer, based in Italy, acts as data controller only for the limited technical logs described above. Because the app holds no account or profile tied to you, there is no personal dataset to export or erase on our side; for any question about the proxy logs or this policy, contact us using the email below. You can exercise your rights under the GDPR at any time.

The app is not directed to children and is not intended for anyone under 16.
